This bubbly rom-com is set in Punjab, and centres on the blossoming romance between Manat and Puran. There is a vibrant riot of colours as the picturesqueness of Punjab comes out richly alive, accentuating the intensity of the feelings between the lovebirds. There is also a lot of emphasis on cultural rootedness and its enduring importance, traditional ideals of loyalty, virtue and passion. Sonam Bajwa plays the girlfriend who stands up for what she believes in, while Gurnam Bhullar essays the male lead. Rupinder Inderjit has directed the film.
