Mahananda

Directed by Arindam Sil, the Bengali-language film follows Mohal Basu, an ardent young college student who wants to study the work and life of the contemporary writer and activist Mahananda Bhattacharjee for her PhD. Despite the disapproval of everyone, she meets Mahananda and has to make the choice of working with her or going her way. With writing by Subhendu Dasmunshi and Arindam Sil, the movie stars Gargee Roychowdhury, Ishaa Saha, Debshankar Halder, Shubro Sankha Das and Arna Mukhopadhyay, among others.
