Laatu is a 2018 Punjabi - language film that is directed by Manav Shah. This is a comedy drama film that stars Gagan Kokri, Aditi Sharma, Anita Devgn, Sardar Sohi, Hardeep Gill and Karamjit Anmol. The film is set in an era when electricity was not available in the rural areas of Punjab and was treated as a luxury. The film follows the story of a boy who fell in love with a girl but the only condition from the girl's family was to get a bulb installed in the house. Therefore, he started a battle with a lazy electricity official to get the work done.
