"At dawn, Ana and Miguel are lying in bed. He notices that a freckle on her face has moved and she, in a wash of feeling exposed, kills him without saying a word. She is not who he thought she was because merely an hour ago she and her reflection in the bathroom mirror had changed places. Now, the new Ana must adapt to her new reality despite the fact that in her eyes everything is inverted. In addition, her social skills are not fully developed because, after all, she is nothing but a reflection of a real person. When Ana interacts with her children for the first time, they become suspicious of the behavior of their mother who strives too hard to excel in everything.Ana is overwhelmed by her quest to do everything right as well as by hiding who she really is and forgets to pick up the children from school. Her friend Claudia takes them home and Ana tells her what is happening. As Claudia finds out that Miguel is dead in the bedroom, she starts to scream and Ana, overcome by the events, kills her.Ana finds herself in front of the bathroom mirror again and meets the real woman. The new Ana has developed human qualities whereas the real Ana starts to fade into a mere frivolous image. When she discovers that Miguel is dead, she decides to kill him on the other side of the mirror as well to maintain the symmetry between the two worlds."
