Written by Hemanth Kumar, Kotthu is a Malayalam political thriller film directed by veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil. Inspired by true events, the film follows the lives of political party workers from Northern Kerala and their battles stemming from their thirst for bloodshed and rebellion. Starring Asif Ali, Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles, the film features Roshan Mathew, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna, and Vijilesh Karayad in supporting roles.
