Kedara

Directorial debut of Indraadip Dasgupta brings the 2019 Bengali film Kedara starring Kaushik Ganguly, Joydeep Kundu, Indranil Roy & Rudranil Ghosh. The film captures the life of Narasingha, a lonely man, skilled in the art of Ventriloquism which is slowly dying. He deals with his loneliness by mimicking the vocals of his imaginary guests for which he is constantly ridiculed by everyone around him. Insulted by family & neighbours, the old man finds his confidence back when someone gives him an armchair. The end message is woven around how lives transition when someone gets so fed up from the outside judgement and decides to escape it all and live a life that is beyond the agony and destructiveness.
