Jaatishwar

Jaatishwar is an Indian Bengali film. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherjee and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Rana Sarkar. The film won many awards in the 61st National Film Award--Best playback male Singer, Best Costume Design, and Best Makeup. The cast of the film Includes Prosenjit Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, and Jisshu Sengupta. The film runs in two parallel time zones focusing on the work of Anthony Firingee from the 19th century. He is a Bengali language folk poet of Portugee origin. The film began in 2013 where a boy Gujarati was born and brought up in Calcutta fall in love with Bengali girl Mahamaya. She demands him to compose and sing a Bengali song without any accent mistake she can give him a choice.
