The film is set in 1971, during the Indo-Pakistani War. The Indian Intelligence Bureau ie (IB) receives intelligence that Pakistan and China are planning a joint attack on India. With just 10 days to avert the war, IB agent Dev Raj played by Vidyut Jammwal comes up with a daring plan to hijack an Indian plane and force it to land in Pakistan.
Dev and his team of agents successfully hijack an Indian Airlines flight from Srinagar to Jammu. They divert the plane to Lahore, Pakistan, and demand the release of Kashmiri separatists in exchange for the safe return of the passengers and crew.
The Pakistani government is initially reluctant to negotiate, but eventually agrees to the IB's demands. The passengers and crew are released, and the plane is destroyed. However, the hijacking has a devastating impact on India-Pakistan relations and sets the stage for the war that is about to erupt.
