In "Howl's Moving Castle" (original title: "Hauru no Ugoku Shiro"), a young woman who lacks confidence is cursed by a vengeful witch, resulting in her transformation into an old woman. Her hope for breaking the curse rests with a young wizard who is self-indulgent and insecure, along with his companions in his unique, legged, walking castle. Directed by Hayao Miyazaki and based on a novel by Diana Wynne Jones, the film features the voices of Chieko Baishô, Takuya Kimura, and Tatsuya Gashûin, and presents a captivating tale of magic, adventure, and self-discovery.
