How to Train Your Dragon, a 2010 American movie, is directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. The Viking village of Berk has been frequently attacked by dragons, which not only take their livestock but also damages property and endangers life. A 15-year-old Hiccup is an awkward boy and son of the village chieftain, Stoick the Vast. He is assumed to be too scrawny and too weak to fight the dragons, therefore, creates mechanical devices used to attack dragons. In the end, the Vikings wake up the Red Death in an attempt to destroy the dragon's nest. While Hiccup, Astrid, and their friends use dragons to fight against the Red Death, Hiccup gets injured in the fight and loses his lower left leg. After the battle, Hiccup wakes up in the morning with a sight of dragons and humans living in Harmony. It was reported by certain animal shelters that the popularity of this movie led to the adoption of black cats and was named, “Toothless” due to the night fury in the movie.
