Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, a 2003 movie, is directed by Sudhir Mishra. It is a political and drama movie. It stars Kay Kay Menon, Chitrangada Singh, and Shiney Ahuja in the leads. The film is inspired by India’s emergency in the 1970s. Vikram, Geeta, and Siddharth try to make a change in their college life. Vikram, is so obsessed with his political life that he chooses that over his love life with Geeta. Siddharth, on the other hand, irrespective of his father’s Gandhian values opposes discrimination and believes to make a change with effective measures. A few years later, Siddharth is still struggling in Bihar for his revolution, whereas Vikram is the upcoming tycoon. Geeta is married to Arun Mehta but divorces him to be with Siddharth. Later, Siddharth and Geeta bear a child, and they live in a remote village and send her child away to London to live with her parents. While Siddharth is in hospital as he gets shot earlier, Vikram tries to free him but ends up in the same hospital after engaging in an accident. Vikram gets beaten up by the police with iron rods when Siddharth rescues the hospital under the police’s nose with the Naxalites.
