Manohar played by Sharan, a former Kho-Kho national champion, is now a lazy and lethargic man who lives with his mentorGuru. After much persuasion, Manohar agrees to join a school in the village of Bettadapura as a PT teacher. He is initially reluctant to get involved in the village affairs, but he soon bonds with his students and the villagers.Meanwhile, Rudrappa pkayed by Chikkanna a swindler, claims ownership of the village land and demands that the villagers vacate it. The villagers refuse, and the case goes to court. The court orders the two parties to resolve the dispute through a Kho-Kho match. Manohar is initially reluctant to train the village students, but he eventually agrees after learning about Guru's death and his desire to see him as a former champion again.Manohar begins to train the students in Kho-Kho, teaching them about teamwork and perseverance. The students are initially hesitant, but they eventually become motivated and dedicated to the sport. On the day of the match, the students play with all their heart and soul, and they eventually emerge victorious.Rudrappa is forced to vacate the village land, and the villagers celebrate their victory. Manohar is hailed as a hero, and he finally realises that he has found a new purpose in life. He decides to stay in Bettadapura and continue training the students in Kho-Kho.
