Guntata Hriday Hey is a drama starring Ramesh Bhatkar, Ashalata Wabgaonkar in lead roles. Babu is a city boy who arrives at a remote village on a visit. While there, he falls in love with Mahananda, the daughter of a Devadasi. Both Babu and Mahananda dream about having a happy married life, but somewhere in her mind Mahananda has her own set of apprehensions about the marriage, as it will be frowned upon by the society.
