Gunpowder Milkshake

Directed by Navot Papushado, the 2021 action thriller film is written by Papushado and Ehud Lavski. The plot revolves around Sam, a young hitwoman who rescues a child named Emily after killing her father. Together with her estranged mother Scarlet and Scarlet’s former co-workers, she fights other assassins to safeguard Emily’s life and end the violence being perpetrated against her. Karen Gillian, known for her roles in Doctor Who and Guardians of the Galaxy, plays Sam, whereas Lena Headey, known for her critically acclaimed performance as Cersei Lannister in the HBO epic fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, plays Scarlet. Apart from Gillian and Headey, the cast includes Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, Chloe Coleman and Ralph Ineson, along with Adam Nagaiti, Michael Smiley and Paul Giamatti.
