Grace Gutierrez is a woman who faces the trials and tribulations of raising a teenage daughter whilst juggling work, bills, and her relationship with a married gynaecologist named Dr. Harford. Gaining inspiration from coming-of-age stories taught by her English teacher, Ms. Armstrong, Grace’s daughter, Ansiedad, formulates a plan to catapult herself into adulthood by making a list of tasks that will eventually aid her in achieving her main goal of running away to New York. Written by Hiram Martinez and directed by Patricia Riggen, Eva Mendes and Cierra Ramirez essay the characters of Grace and Ansiedad. The rest of the cast includes Matthew Modine, Patricia Arquette, Eugenio Derbez, Raini Rodriguez, Russell Peters, Brenna O'Brien, Landon Liboiron, Anna Maria Estrada, Kendall Cross, Blu Mankuma, Colin Foo, Patti Allan and Lossen Chambers, among others.
