Ghatak: Lethal

Ghatak: Lethal, a 1996 movie, is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It is an action-packed thriller-drama movie starring Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Seshadri in the leads. The film starts with Kashi in the role of a wrestler in Banaras. He visits Mumbai with his father, Shambhu Nath, to visit a doctor. Kashi feels angry when he realizes that his colony is terrorized by a gangster, Katya. Although the whole society is afraid of him, including Malti going mad, Kashi takes a stand against the gangster. Later, Kashi refuses to be a part of Katya’s gang against which Katya makes Shambhu Nath behave like a dog. After certain events follow that makes Kashi lose his control, he kills Antya, Katya’s brother. Meanwhile, Shambhu Nath dies of throat cancer.
