Written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company, Ghani is a sports drama film that tells the story of boxer Abdul Ghani Usman.
The film stars Varun Tej as ‘Ghani’ who plays the boxer. Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra, play supporting characters in the film. Interestingly, Tej underwent training under Tony Jeffries, the former England boxer who won a bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympics to best fit the role.
