Generation Ami

Generation Aami is an Indian Bengali film from 2018. The film is directed by Mainak Bhaumik and produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni. The film was produced under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. The cast of films is Rwitobroto Mukherjee as Arunava Bose aka Apu, Durga's cousin, Sauraseni Maitra as Sreoshi Bose aka Durga, Apu's cousin, Lily Chakravarty as Apu and Durga's grandmother, Aparajita Auddy as Kahuku Apu's mother, Shantilal Mukherjee as Apu's father, and Anusha Vishwanathan as Piya, Apu's friend, and love interest. The story is about a new generation where a boy wants to ask a girl out and pursue his passion for writing and singing songs. His problems are his strict parents and their tradition. His life changed when Durga, his cousin entered his life. Although they haven’t met for a long time, they came from Delhi. The movie shows the generation gap life of rebellious teens.
