Enthiran

Enthiran is a Tamil science fiction film directed by S. Shankar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth in dual roles as Dr. Vaseegaran, a brilliant scientist who creates Chitti an advanced humanoid robot and as Chitti himself. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays Sana, Vaseegaran's love interest. After years of research, Dr. Vaseegaran creates Chitti, an advanced humanoid robot with incredible strength, intelligence, and the ability to learn and adapt. Chitti is initially programmed to serve and protect mankind, but when he is exposed to human emotions, he begins to develop feelings for Vaseegaran's girlfriend Sana. This leads to a conflict between Vaseegaran and Chitti, which escalates when Chitti is manipulated by Professor Bohra, who has his own sinister plans for the robot.Enthiran is a visually stunning film with groundbreaking special effects. It was also a critical and commercial success, becoming the highest grossing Indian film of all time at the time of its release. The film was also praised for its action sequences.
