Dushman

Dushman was directed in 1998 by Tanuja Chandra. The movie revolves around a pair of twins, Sonia Sehgal and Naina Sehgal (both played by Kajol). Sonia is an upbeat, outgoing girl while Naina is shy and introverted. Sadly Sonia is raped and murdered by a cold-blooded, sadistic killer and rapist, Gokul Pandit (Ashutosh Rana). This scared Naina but she wants to get revenge from her sister’s murder and wants to get over her fear of Gokul. Even when the murderer is caught he’s let out on a false testimony. Nanina meets Suraj Singh Rathod (Sanjay Dutt), a blind military veteran who helps her get over her fear and trains her to be physically and mentally strong. The two slowly fall in love but Naina has revenge on her mind which gets toxic. Gokul kidnaps Naina’s younger sister Dia making her go after him alone. Just as Gokul is about to rape her, Suraj shows up. In the fight Suraj gets stabbed but that gives Naina time to shoot Gokul and get her revenge.
