Drive My Car

Starring Reika Kirishima, Toko Miura, Hidetoshi Nishijima, and Maskai Okada in lead roles, Drive My Car is a Japanese film based on the novel of the same name by Haruku Murakami.

 It follows the story of a widowed actor who seeks a chauffeur. The actor turns to his trusted mechanic who recommends a 20-year-old girl. Initially hesitant, the actor decides to hire her and slowly a very special relationship develops between the two.

 The film has been directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi, and is a strong contender at this year's Academy Awards, stealing nominations in the categories of Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best International Feature, among others.
