DJ Tillu

DJ Tillu is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language romantic crime comedy film directed by debutant Vimal Krishna, who also co-wrote the script with Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film features Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the role of Bala Gangadhar Tilak, popularly known as "DJ Tillu." The film's ensemble cast includes Neha Shetty as M. Radhika, Prince Cecil as Shannon Gonzales (the club owner), and Brahmaji as Inspector Rao, among others.
The film tells a thrilling tale in which DJ Tillu encounters Radhika in a club, setting off a sequence of events involving blackmail, crime, and a web of deceit. As they navigate through complex situations, the film delves into their evolving relationship and the secrets they harbor, ultimately leading to a plot twist in the courtroom
The film's inception traces back to October 2020 when it. was announced under the title "Narudi Brathuku Natana." Principal photography commenced in February 2021, with Hyderabad serving as the primary filming location. S. Thaman composed the background score, while the soundtrack was crafted by Sricharan Pakala and Ram Miriyala. Initially slated for release on January 14, 2022, the film's launch was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
DJ Tillu eventually hit the theaters on February 12, 2022, garnering mixed reviews from critics. Despite this, the film emerged as a commercial success at the box office. Notably, a sequel named "Tillu Square" is set for release on September 15, 2023, with Siddhu Jonnalagadda reprising his role.
