Dhurala

Dhurala is a 2020 Indian-Marathi language film directed by Sameer Vidwans.This drama film revolves around the death of a sarpanch. When he dies, the sarpanch’s family crave the power which the deceased possessed. Nivrutti Ubhe, the village sarpanch dies. His son wants to take his place. However, the members of his own family want the power for themselves. As the film goes we learn that almost everyone in the family wants to be the Sarpanch. What follows is distress in human relationships and a game of power and politics. A drama portraying human greed for power, and decay of family.
