Pravin Tarde is helming the biopic on the popular Shiv Sena leader, Anand Chintamani Dighe. Dighe was the Thane district chief of the Shiv Sena party in Maharashtra, also infamous for his muscle power and intimidation tactics. Mangesh Desai has produced the film. Tarde is best known for directing films like Mulshi Pattern and Deool Bandh. This also marks Desai's first stint as a producer.
