Dasvi

Directed by Tushar Jalota, and written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Sandeep Layzelle, with the story given by Ram Bajpai, Dasvi is a comedy satire that is distributed by Netflix India and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios.

It is inspired by the real-life story of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala , who completed his class XII exam at the age of 82 in prison after he was convicted in the teachers’ recruitment scam case.

 The film stars Abhishek Bachchan as Ganga Ram Chaudhary. Yami Gautam plays an IPS officer and Nimrat Kaur plays Bimla Devi, the chief minister of the state.
