Dasavatharam stars Kamal Haasan in ten roles with Asin in two roles, and Mallika Sherawat in a subsidiary role, directed by K.S.Ravikumar. This Tamil science-fiction movie also converged with several controversies leading to its delay in release, which was cleared as soon as the movie got released. As the film revolves around the ten avatars that Kamal Hasan commits to and showcases philosophical views related to Hinduism, it was therefore charged to portray Hindu culture in a bad light. Senthil Kumar also came forward, claiming that Kamal Haasan and Venu Ravichandran have stolen the story, which was his idea and concept. All the controversies seem to disappear as the movie is released and the case was settled down at court in the favour of Kamal Haasan and Dasavatharam. Venu Ravichandran, the producer, exclaims that the movie projects no controversial scenes and does not disrespect the Hindu religion.
