Dana Kayonu

Dana Kayonu, directed and written by Yogaraj Bhat was released in 2016. The movie is a bit like Thithi or Gods Must Be Crazy but more commercial as it has songs, dances and fights in it. The movie revolves around a small village in Karnataka where a man named Kempu aka Docomo (Vijay) resides and herds his cows. He falls in love with Jummi (Priyamani) and wants to marry her but to his dismay she does not seem to care as she is focused on becoming a police officer. Docomo is offered a large sum of money by an MNC for the bull he owns since it's a rare breed. Will he sell it or will he not? The movie walks you through human nature and contrasts it with an animal.
