"Chirodini Tumi Je Amar" is a 2008 Bengali film directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Sri Venkatesh Films. The movie features Rahul Banerjee as Krishna and Priyanka Sarkar as Pallavi in the lead roles. A noteworthy aspect of this film is that it is a remake of the 2004 Tamil film "Kadal."
The story unfolds with Krishna, a diligent scooter mechanic from Siliguri, whose life takes an unexpected turn when Pallavi, a wealthy schoolgirl, becomes infatuated with him. Their connection escalates to a dangerous level as they decide to escape from Krishna's family, who have different plans for his future. Their journey begins when Pallavi leaves her school uniform and wristwatch at home, disobeying Krishna's instructions. They rush to a shopping mall where Pallavi transforms her appearance and the two embark on a bus journey.
As the plot develops, the couple's love faces challenges from Pallavi's formidable father and uncle, who are searching for her. With the help of Krishna's friend Ali and his team in Kolkata, the couple manages to get married. However, their happiness is short-lived, as Pallavi's family intervenes, leading to a tragic separation.
"Chirodini Tumi Je Amar" features compelling performances by Rahul Banerjee and Priyanka Sarkar, along with a musical score by Abhimanyu Mukherjee.
