When Shobhan Babu, a dark-complexioned poet is unable to get published because of his looks, he decides to publish them under the name of Nagabhushanam, a petty con artist. As fame and riches are showered on Nagabhushanam because of Shobhan Babu s poetry, he turns unscrupulous and immoral leading to a dramatic twist.
