Chaamp

Chaamp is a 2017 Indian Bengali film distributed by SVF Entertainment and directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Dev. The sport centric family drama includes Rukmini Maitra as Jaya Sanyal, Dev as Shibaji "Shiba" Sanyal, Chiranjeet Chakraborty as Coach Buro Bagchi, Akbar Hasan as Prashant Singh, Laboni Sarkar as Shiba's mother, and Priyanka Sarkar as Sathi Bagchi. The story of Chaamp revolves around Shibaji who is a re-owned boxer with a long list of following. He is considered a pro boxer at one time. His great life comes crashing down because of a near-fatal injury and turns his life into a disaster. Fed up with his life and drugs now he wishes to return to the ring. He returns to the coach. The film was the first released in West Bengal but was later spread.
