Borrego

Borrego is an English crime thriller film that follows a young botanist who relocates to a new locality to study a new species of plants. While doing her research, she comes across an abandoned downed aeroplane. Out of initial curiosity, she investigates the aeroplane, but soon becomes hostage to a local drug mule. The mule forces her to undertake a trek to his desired drop location, which is across the sweltering desert. A local sheriff is drawn into the hunt as his daughter sets out on a quest to find the now-missing botanist. Borrego, directed by Jesse Harris, stars Lucy Hale, Nicholas Gonzalez, Leyner Gomez, Jorge A. Jimenez, and Olivia Trujillo, among many others.
