Bombay

Bombay is a Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The story portrays the life of two lovers, Shekhar and Shaila, who hail from different cultural backgrounds. The religious conflict forces them to elope and move to Mumbai, where they give birth to twin boys and live happily. However, their happiness is short-lived as political riots break around the town, destroying the place they live and, for a brief time, separating the kids from their parents. The film stars Arvind Swamy, Manisha Koirala, Akash Khurana, Master Harsha, Nassar, Kitty, Tinnu Anand, Master Hridhay and A. R. Srinivasan in the lead, along with Venkatesh, Prakash Raj, Rallapalli, M. V. Vasudeva Rao, Pramoth, Vijaya Chandrika, Radhabhai and Sujitha.
