The town of Urdax has been chosen for its beauty as a town, for its majestic houses, and its privileged environment that makes you transport yourself to previous centuries. The caves make this town a magical space that evokes memories of times before ours.Aretza is a fiction short film in which the theme of witchcraft in Navarra is reflected, seen from a more current point of view. From a not-so-mythological and superhuman vision but from reality more in keeping with what women and men really suffered and suffered in the 16th and 17th centuries, who were persecuted for the inquisition until they killed the vast majority for their cultural and political beliefs in much of Navarra.On the other hand, it reflects the emotional union between three different generations of the same family.
