Aladdin follows the story of the titular character, a young thief living on the streets whose life changes when he finds a magical lamp with a genie who grants three wishes. When he falls in love with Jasmine, the princess of Agrabah, he is trapped in a game of charades under the watchful eye of Jafar, the royal advisor with nefarious intentions of his own. A Walt Disney Pictures animation written and directed by Ron Clements (Hercules, 1997) and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, 1989), the film features the voices of Scott Weinger (Fuller House, 2016), Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire, 1993), Linda Larkin (Runaway Bride, 1999), Jonathan Freeman (The Producers, 2005), Frank Welker (Transformers film series) and Gilbert Gottfried (The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, 1990). It is the 1993 Academy Award winner for Best Music, Original Song and Best Music, Original Score, along with 34 other wins and 22 nominations.
