Akka Kuruvi

Based on the legendary Iranian director Majid Majidi's Children of Heaven (1997), the Tamil film is written and directed by Saamy. The plot follows a heart-wrenching story of a brother and a sister who are from a poor family and their connection with a shoe. The movie stars child artists Mahin and Daviya as the brother and sister with classical dancer Tara Jagadamba as the mother and Senthilkumar as the father. Produced by Baby Pannerselvam, M Muthukaruppan, MVS Kumar, Thattumal M Kannammal and VRS Raja, the music is composed by Isaignani Ilayaraja.
