The Telugu-language action-drama film is written and directed by Koratala Siva, who is known for his commercially successful films, namely Mirchi (2013), Srimanthudu (2015), Janatha Garage (2016) and Bharat Ane Nenu (2018). The plot revolves around a middle-aged social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over the embezzlement of temple funds and donations. Produced by Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood and Kajal Aggarwal, among others. With cinematography by Tirru and editing by Naveen Nooli, the movie features music composed by Mani Sharma. Regina Cassandra makes a special appearance as Mandakini in the item song Saana Kastam.
