The Trial, which recently released on Disney+ Hotstar, boasts a talented cast, including Kajol in the leading role alongside Sheeba Chadha and Kubbra Sait. This is the first time the actors have shared screen space. During an exclusive interaction with OTTplay, both Sheeba and Kubbra were all praise for Kajol and also hinted about the actor spreading positivity through her writing.

Sheeba stated, "She's very generous in her appreciation of all of us. She always has nice things to say about people and likes them consistently. Whenever we go on set, Kajol will say some nice things about you, which we are very happy to hear, and then we will do some shooting."

Kubbra said, "She was always someone who stayed on set. So it's like one shot after another; she was there constantly. There was never a separation between the actor and the person that she is; she was always there. It was always an extended personality of hers. You could actually speak to her in between shots; she would ask you, 'So what's happening today?' She's just a very kind person."

The Sacred Games actor also revealed an interesting incident by saying, "She would write these affirmations for people. Or like she would just write them, and then you would find them. Then you open a page, and there's something really nice written; maybe it's something you needed to hear that day. I've never seen anyone else do it."

Sheeba added to it, stating, "I think she is writing a novel on set. We were finding her manuscripts on set."

When Kajol was asked if she was penning a novel on the sets, the actor set the record straight by quipping, "Nothing like that. I was just supposed to look like I was working hard. And I was working hard. I was just writing down some affirmations, trying to be more positive on set."
