Dibyendu Bhattacharya has admitted that he can ignore the importance of box office numbers. Here's what the Undekhi 3 actor said in an interview with OTTplay.

Box office numbers play a major role in the success and failure of films. Many big Bollywood stars have spoken about the importance of the box office in the past. However, Undekhi 3 actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya remains unfazed by it. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Dibyendu admitted he can completely ignore the concept of box office numbers and their importance. The actor believes his work ends when the director of his project approves his shot.
Speaking exclusively with us, Dibyendu Bhattacharya revealed the reason he isn't affected much by the box office game. The actor said nobody knows the box office and what it will accept.
"I can ignore it because nobody knows the box office. Even the greatest of filmmakers don't know the box office ki box office kya lene wala hai So, I can completely ignore it," said Dibyendu.
The actor further mentioned, "It's not my part and I have nothing to do with the box office. The maker has a lot to do with the box office. My work ends when the director approves the shot. That's it."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dibyendu Bhattacharya is awaiting the release of his series, Undekhi 3. Directed by Ashish Shukla, Undekhi marks the return of Dibyendu as DCP Barun Ghosh. He is back to working on the complicated case of the Atwal family.
Talking a bit about his character, Dibyendu told OTTplay that Barun Ghosh takes a lot of risks. He also said the special aspect of his role is that there's a lot of 'zidd' in him and that's the one quality Dibyendu would like to imbibe in himself.
As far as the rest star cast is concerned, Harsh Chhaya will be back as Papaji while Surya Sharma will return as Rinku. Ankut Rathee and Aanchal Singh will be reprising their characters of Daman and Teji. Varun Badola has joined the star cast of Undekhi 3 as Rajveer Malhotra. The show will premiere on SonyLIV on May 10.
