Going down memory lane, Supriya Pathak revealed how Khichi grew over a period of time. The senior actress said the show became a brand much later.
"Initially, when Khichdi came, we were not sure as to how it was going to be received and what's going to happen. We were apprehensive but we enjoyed having performed it. We loved the script. We were happy with what we had done. But the kind of response we got was quite unbelievable. It happened over a period of time. Ekdam immediately successful nahi hua. Over a period of time, the way people started loving these characters and the way we started loving these characters, hum bhi grow huye and so did our audience," said Pathak.
