Sharathulu Varthisthai is a common man's struggle to prove himself, says Chaitanya Rao

Sharathulu Varthisthai release date locked: Sharathulu Varthisthai is the latest low-budget film from Telugu cinema that is all set to hit screens on March 15. The film stars Chaitanya Rao and Bhoomi Shetty and has been directed by Kumaraswamy. The village drama is a slice-of-life romantic drama based on the concept of winning one's love by fulfilling several tasks by the hero.

Speaking about the film, Chaitanya Rao thanked director Kumaraswamy for showing belief in him and allowing him to play the main lead. "We have gone through a lot while making this film. Not many had believed in me playing the lead but Kumar spotted potential in me and offered me such a good role and I can proudly say that Sharathulu Varthisthai will impress every section of the audience," says Rao.

Chaitanya Rao on Sharathulu Varthisthai

Sharathulu Varthisthai has been produced on a very low budget by Nagarjuna Samala, Srish Kumar Gunda, and Dr. Krishnakanth Chittajallu under Star Light Studios. Bhoomi Shetty is playing the female lead; her chemistry with Rao looks quite interesting in the promos. "Bhoomi has a very striking screen presence and will prove her mettle with this film," adds Rao.

Filmmaker Madhura Shreedhar Reddy has been quite instrumental in helping the film project conceive and also get out of release issues. Madhura Sreedhar Sir has been a guiding light and was the one who backed me throughout this project and I cannot thank him enough," says Chaitanya.

Chaitanya Rao plays Chiranjeevi in Sharathulu Varthisthai

Chaitanya Rao plays the role of Chiranjeevi in the film and he says that ever since he knew that his character was named Chiranjeevi, he acted without fear and with a lot of sincerity. "We made the film with a lot of effort and hope that the audience will appreciate our sincere efforts," Chaitanya Rao signs off. The young hero will also be seen in yet another film titled Honeymoon Express.
