Paithani: Mrinal Kulkarni sends best wishes to co-star Eisha Singh for Bigg Boss 18; says 'It was heartwarming to...' | Exclusive

Mrinal Kulkarni and Eisha Singh's web series, Paithani, is set for an OTT release next week. Directed by Gajendra Ahire, the show highlights a poignant tale of a mother-daughter duo. Eisha as Kaveri goes to extreme lengths to uphold her mom's legacy. Mrinal, as Godavari, is a Paithani saree weaver. Before Paithani's premiere, OTTplay interviewed Mrinal. The senior actress shared her experience of working with Eisha and sent a message for her Bigg Boss 18 journey.

Mrinal Kulkarni's message for Bigg Boss 18's Eisha Singh

In an exclusive interview with us, Mrinal Kulkarni opened up about working with Eisha Singh in Paithani. The actress, who is a mother to a son, said she can only bond with a daughter when she acts. However, "Now I have a daughter-in-law so I know how they think and all of that," said Mrinal.

The senior actress further mentioned, "It was very heartwarming to work with Eisha and now that she is in Bigg Boss 18, I wish her the best." Director Gajendra Ahire, who was also a part of this conversation, shared an insight about Mrinal and Eisha's scene in Paithani.

"There's a scene between the two of them where there are no dialogues. Mrinali ji is working while Eisha simply looks at her. She (Mrinal's character) asks her 'What are you thinking?' To which, she says 'Kuch bhi nahi'. Kuch nahi sochna — ye sochna bhi kya sochna hai. It's not about what you say, but it is the connection and theraav that is necessary. This is what worked in that scene," revealed Gajendra.

Mrinal and Eisha's series Paithani is scheduled for an OTT release on ZEE5 on November 15, 2024. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
