R. Madhavan had spoken of Aanand L. Rai's Tanu Weds Manu 3 just a few days back. He hinted that he might have been replaced in the film since he has no clue if there is an update around the movie. Just days into it, Madhavan has reunited with his co-star from the very film, Kangana Ranaut. She has commenced shooting with Madhavan for the movie which is anything but Tanu Weds Manu 3. Kangana Ranaut confirms reunion with R Madhavan

Kangana shared the picture of a clapperboard and captioned it, "Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set." The clapperboard confirmed that R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut are the leads in the film. But, it is far from Tanu Weds Manu 3.

What is the film Kangana Ranaut-R Madhavan are working on?

Kangana has joined Madhavan for a Tamil-Hindi film, which is directed by A.L. Vijay. She is shooting for a psychological thriller in Chennai. The actress, last seen as Indira Gandhi in Emergency, has promised that more about her and Madhavan's film will be revealed soon.

Speculations about Tanu Weds Manu 3

Madhavan was unaware of Tanu Weds Manu 3 and did not wish to speak to the media without having any official idea of the project. However, when pushed about the theory that Kangana could play a triple role in the movie, the actor ended up telling Screen Magazine, "I have no clue and I don’t know what the script is. Maybe I am not there in it. Maybe they have replaced me. I haven’t got the faintest idea," he was quoted saying. He simply wanted to state that director Aanand L. Rai has not approached him so he doesn't know the official news, and has read all the theories online itself, so if the media claims the movie is happening, then Madhavan might not be a part of the film. Nonetheless, with the Madhavan-Ranaut reunion, one might expect a fresh update on Tanu Weds Manu 3 as well.
