Marco, the mass action thriller which stars Unni Mukundan in the lead role, had a fantastic first weekend in the theatres. The movie, which marked the actor’s second collaboration with Haneef Adeni, crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark at the box office. Marco, which had a pan-Indian release in five languages, has also made a fantastic opening in other languages. Interestingly, the Hindi version of Marco has received over 140 extra shows, owing to its increasing popularity.
Recently, leading man Unni Mukundan took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and revealed an exciting update about the Marco Hindi version. “140+ extra shows added in Hindi for #Marco,” wrote the popular actor, who also shared a new poster of the film in his post. Considering the current trends, the Hindi version of Haneef Adeni’s film is expected to get more screen counts during the weekend, owing to the increasing word-of-mouth publicity.
The cast and crew members took to their official social media handles and dropped the much-awaited Marco OST, to the much-excitement of the audiences. The original score, composed by the popular Kannada musician Ravi Basrur, has thoroughly impressed Malayalam cinema audiences across the globe. For the uninitiated, the KGF fame music composer made his long-awaited Malayalam debut with the Haneef Adeni directorial, which is on its way to earning blockbuster status.
Unni Mukundan appears in the role of Marco D’ Peter, a violent young man who avenges the death of his elder foster brother. The Haneef Adeni directorial features a massive star cast, including Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu Shammi Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Yukti Thareja, Ishaan Shoukath, Durva Thaker, Sreejith Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Arjun Nandakumar, Lishoy, Riyaz Khan, and others in the supporting roles.
Marco is scripted by director Haneef Adeni, himself. Chandru Selvaraj is the director of photography. Ravi Basrur composed the songs and the original score, for the film. Shameer Muhammed handled the film’s editing. The Unni Mukundan starrer is bankrolled by Shareef Muhammed, under the banner Cubes Entertainments.
