Madraskaaran OTT release date: When and where to watch Shane Nigam’s Tamil emotional drama

Madraskaaran, the recently released Tamil film starring Shane Nigam in the lead role, is all set to release on an OTT platform soon. The film, which marks the debut of the Malayalam actor in Tamil films, has been acquired by Aha Tamil. Madraskaaran will be released on Aha Tamil on February 7 and will be available through OTTplay Premium as well.

Madraskaaran is a Tamil emotional drama featuring Shane Nigam in the lead role. The film hit theatres on January 10, and after its theatrical run, will now be available for streaming soon. The film's streaming rights have been bagged by Aha Tamil and will make its debut on the platform on February 7. You can use your OTTplay Premium subscription to watch the film.

Madraskaaran is helmed by Vaali Mohan Das, and stars Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, Geetha Kailasam, Niharika Konidela and others. The film revolves around a man who returns to his hometown in Pudukottai to get married to the love of his life. However, one single instance on his wedding day changes his life overall.

Madraskaaran review and verdict

Madraskaaran opened to mixed reviews upon its release. The film had decent performances, however lacked impactful storytelling. OTTplay review of the film reads, “Even as the film has some emotional stretches to give Shane Nigam that space, an incoherent screenplay that doesn’t immerse you, makes Madraskaaran a letdown and wasted opportunity.”
