Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar: Sharib Hashmi reveals why it was challenging for him to play Ved | Exclusive

Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar is an upcoming mystery thriller series featuring Sharib Hashmi in the lead role. The trailer of this show was released a few days ago. Directed by Prabal Baruah, the ZEE5 show promises to be a complex tale of identity, intrigue, and the pursuit of truth. Days before the series' release, OTTplay did an exclusive interaction with Sharib. In conversation with us, the actor opened up about playing the role of Ved in Khoj, which will soon drop on streaming.

Sharib Hashmi on his role in Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar

During a chat with us, Sharib Hashmi admitted it was challenging to play Ved's character in Prabal Baruah's show, Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar. The actor said, "Because this is the first time I have played a character in which there is no humour at all. It is an intense character. I have never portrayed such situations anywhere. There were a lot of scenes, not just one, which seemed very difficult to me."

Hashmi further pointed out one scene that he found challenging but also had fun while filming it. "There was one scene where I had a confrontation scene with my wife. I can't tell you what it is right now, but we have a very heated argument. I had a lot of fun doing that and it was a long scene," added Sharib. 

The actor mentioned that director Prabal designed the scene well and they got it right in the first two takes. "But when we started doing it, it flew very organically," he revealed.

Apart from Sharib, Khoj - Parchaiyon Ke Uss Paar stars Anupriya Goenka as Meera and Aamir Dalvi as Amol Sathe. As per the streamer, the series follows the story of Ved, a man suffering from paranoia. He begins a desperate search for his missing wife Meera. The twist in the tale comes when Meera is found but Ved feels she is an impostor.
