Karan Wahi is currently basking attention for his recently released show, Raisinghani Vs Raisinghani. The actor plays an ambitious and charming lawyer named Virat Chaudhary in the show, which also stars Jennifer Winget. It is currently streaming on SonyLIV.
Recently, the actor got in an exclusive conversation with OTTplay where he speaks about completing 20 successful years in the acting industry. Talking about his takeaways and regrets from the industry, the actor said, "No regrets, I don't believe in regrets. It just makes you sad. You can regret for 20 thousand things, vaise toh bahot hai. Par usme koi faida nahi hai kyuki how do I do that would have happened if I would have done it or not done it. Today I can say 'Oh I wish I had done that show then I would be more successful' but then kya pata maine kiya hota toh shayad chalta hi naa."
When asked if he sees things positively and things don't affect him much, he said, "Yes, because I feel what will I do with regrets, it's great for my ego kick, I mean I have a lot of contracts that I signed but they never got released, so whenever I feel down in life, I always look at them and think that 'see this is where you once reached in life', although it didn't work out if that would have worked out, you don't know what would have happened."
The Dill Mill Gayye actor added, "The only takeaway in these 20 years is that I am very proud of the fact that I stuck by. 20 years ago when I came, I thought I wanted to do everything. And I thought back then ki main toh Mannat (while referring to Shah Rukh Khan's bunglow) ke sath Jannat banauga but mujhe sabse jyada proud is baat par hota hai ki workwise jab mai apna resume dekhta hu kaam ka toh mujhe khushi hoti hai ki maine sab kuch try kiya. Maine TV kiya, filmein ki, web shows kiye, maine host kiya, comedy ki, short films ki, reality shows kiye, artistic films ki, so I think kisi baat ka gham nahi rahega ki kuch try nahi kiya." (And I thought back then that I would build 'Jannat' with 'Mannat', but what makes me most proud is that, work-wise, when I look at my resume, it brings me joy that I have tried everything. I have done TV, movies, web shows, hosted, comedy, short films, reality shows, artistic films, so I think there will be no regret about not trying anything.)
"Till the time I am here, till the time I work I just want to keep doing things, I am pushing my own comfort zone," Karan Wahi concluded.
