Helly Shah has made her OTT debut with Gullak 4, which premeired today (June 7). The actress has opened up about venturing into the web space with the TVF show.

Helly Shah started her acting career on television in 2010. Having shows like Swaragini and Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 to her credit, Helly made a mark for herself in the TV space. She has broadened her horizons and ventured into OTT medium. The actress has made her digital debut in TVF's beloved web series Gullak 4, which is now streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. On that note, OTTplay exclusively interviewed Helly, who plays the role of Dr Preeti in the web show, which chronicles the life of the middle-class Mishra family.

During an exclusive conversation with us, Helly Shah said she readily agreed to do Gullak 4 and she had no questions about it in her mind. "I had no option (to say no). Even if I was given an option, I would've said a big yes to it. It is Gullak and a TVF show that is everybody's favourite. People have been talking about it ever since the show was released (since season one). Na kehne ka sawaal hi paida nahi hota hain," the actress told OTTplay.
When asked about her thoughts regarding Gullak season one, Shah added, "It was relevant and relatable at that time and even if you watch it now, you will be like 'this is probably us' or we have seen such things happening in our life."
Continuing the conversation, Helly called Gullak a 'light-hearted' series that can release anybody's stress. "You have to just be easy while watching it. It's a fun show. I think, at that time, aisa koi show aaya nahi tha. Everybody watched it at one go. Sundar is like a perfect word for it. It is a sundar and khoobsurat show," stated Helly.

Meanwhile, Gullak 4 is now streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The series features Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Harsh Mayar, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Sunita Rajwar reprising their characters from the previous seasons. Gullak 4 has been created and directed by Shreyansh Pandey.
