Whatever you expect from a Dharma film, it has all. We really loved making this movie. It was a very fun movie to make. The cast got along really well. Shashank Khaitan is such a lovely guy and the film is also very light-hearted."
For the unversed, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is the sequel to Badrinath Ki Dulhania which featured Varun along with Alia Bhatt. It is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan.
Alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Akshay Oberoi, the ensemble cast also includes Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. Bankrolled by Dharma Productions, the film is slated to release in theatres on April 18, 2025.
Meanwhile, according to the reports by Pinkvilla, “It’s a pure family entertainer with romance in its backdrop, much like the kind of films that Shashank has made over the years.”
Apart from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Akshay has Toxic starring Yash. The film marks his South debut. Speaking about Toxic, the actor told us, "South is making some great cinema today and Yash is one of the most exciting action heroes of our time and the film is an incredibly huge project and I am so grateful to have been cast in it."
