Emakku Thozhil Romance OTT release date: When and where to watch Ashok Selvan’s romantic drama

Emakku Thozhil Romance, the 2024 Tamil film starring actor Ashok Selvan in the lead role, will soon be available for streaming. Aha Tamil platform has bagged the OTT rights of the film. The platform announced on social media that the film will begin streaming from February 14 onwards. It will also be available on the OTTplay Premium app.

Emakku Thozhil Romance is a romantic comedy featuring Ashok Selvan and Avantika Mishra. The film is written and directed by Balaji Kesavan and also features an ensemble star cast including actors Urvashi, M. S. Bhaskar, Azhagam Perumal, Bagavathi Perumal, Vijay Varadaraj, Badava Gopi, and others in supporting roles.

The film, which had a late release in November 2024, will premiere on Aha Tamil from February 14 onwards. You can use your OTTplay Premium subscription to watch the film for the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

The film explores the love of the protagonist, the subsequent problems caused by it, and how his family and friends help him. The film has music scored by Nivas K Prasanna, with Ganesh Chandra in charge of the cinematography. Jerome Allen has worked as the editor.

Ashok Selvan’s upcoming line-up

We last heard Ashok Selvan voicing the character of Scar in the recently released animated film Mufasa: The Lion King. The actor is also part of the upcoming biggie Thug Life which is headlined by Kamal Haasan. It will be the first time Ashok Selvan will be sharing the screen space with the actor, and working with veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Ashok Selvan will also be starring in the upcoming web series Gangs Kuruthi Punal, which was announced as part of the Tamil content slate last year by Prime Video. A release date for the series is yet to be announced.
