By now, it is a known fact that Srikanth Odela, the director of Nani's Dasara and The Paradise, is all set to direct Chiranjeevi for a big project. How the film was announced surprised everyone. Nani will present the film, which will be made on a massive scale.

Well, we at OTTplay have exclusive information about the film. We have learned that Chiranjeevi's film will be a period drama set against a gripping action backdrop. 

A source close to the team revealed that Srikanth Odela plans to transport audiences back to the 1990s when Chiranjeevi was at the peak of his career. The source adds that while Chiranjeevi mostly did mass entertainers with straightforward action in that era, Srikanth wants to portray the megastar in a raw and rustic manner, unlike anything seen before.

Backdrop of Srikanth Odela-Chiranjeevi's next is here

The film is set in the gangster genre, focusing on a period when such activities were at their peak. Srikanth Odela impressed audiences with his raw storytelling in Dasara, and the moment he narrated the script to Chiranjeevi, the megastar reportedly loved it and gave his nod to the project.

There were rumours that the film would not include any songs, but we’ve learned that this is untrue. Having Chiranjeevi in a film without songs is highly unlikely. The film will feature all the masala elements while being narrated compellingly. Nani presenting the film is also one of its biggest highlights.

Currently, Srikanth Odela is busy with The Paradise starring Nani, and he will start work on Chiranjeevi's film only after completing that project. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is in no hurry to do back-to-back films.
